Spaghetti with bell pepper sauce, chicken, and green beans EN
Ingredients
🍗 2 chicken breasts (or cutlets)
🫑 1 large red bell pepper (or 2, depending on taste)
🧅 1 onion
🧄 1 clove of garlic (optional)
🥛 1 carton of heavy cream (20 or 30%)
1 teaspoon paprika
🍅 1 teaspoon tomato paste
🧂 Salt, pepper
🫗 Olive oil
500g green beans, trimmed
🧄 Persillade and garlic
Instructions
Preparation of spaghetti:
1. Boil salted water.
2. Once boiling, add the spaghetti.
3. Cook according to the instructions on the pasta package.
4. Remove one tablespoon of the pasta cooking water and set it aside.
5. Drain the spaghetti and add a little butter to prevent it from sticking together.
Preparation of chicken and pepper sauce:
1. Cut the chicken into strips or small pieces.
2. Chop the red bell pepper(s) and onion.
3. Heat a little oil in a frying pan and fry the chicken until golden brown.
4. Add the onion, bell pepper, and garlic and sauté for 8–10 minutes until tender.
5. Season with salt and pepper, add the paprika and tomato paste.
6. Pour in the cream.
7. Add the pasta cooking water.
8. Simmer for 5 minutes.
Assembly:
Add the pasta to the chicken and bell pepper sauce mixture and mix well.
Preparation of green beans:
1. Boil the green beans in salted water.
2. Drain them.
3. Sauté them in butter.
4. Add the salt, pepper, and parsley/garlic mixture.
5. Let it cook for 5 minutes.
